Urawa Reds – FC Tokyo:
Urawa Reds are back on track with 2 straight away-wins in the league but they haven’t exactly impressed play-wise. Both wins were narrow but if we consider their recent ACL-results as well it’s obvious the team is moving in the right direction. They got some good news ahead of this match too wih FW Muto returning to the lineup from a lengthy injury, and he should be a big boost compared to the ineffective Sugimoto.
FC Tokyo are ranked 1st so far with 10 points from 4 matches and they are sailing up as a dark horse for the title if they can keep it up. They haven’t looked all that good play-wise though and haven’t had the toughest of schedules so far except for in R1 where they met Kawasaki away.
Tokyo got a horrible record away vs Urawa and the overall head-to-head record at Saitama is 14-2-1 in Urawa’s favour, while home and away Urawa got 10-2-0 on their last 12 meetings. With how Urawa have been progressing lately it’s a no-brainer to back them in this match as well. Tokyo is a tough team to break down but I think we can expect goals as well here.
Expected Starting Lineup Urawa:
46Moriwaki*- 2Mauricio – 5Makino(I)
7Nagasawa– 8Ewerton – 16Aoki – 3Ugajin
30Koroki (I) – 9Muto
FW Fabricio (S/R)
Expected Starting Lineup Tokyo:
2Muroya – 3Morishige (I) – 20Jang Hyun-Soo – 25Ogawa
10Higashi(I) – 18Hashimoto – 8Takahagi – 39Omori
9Diego Oliveira(I) – 11Nagai
Prediction: 2-1 or 3-1
There’s been a big move on both Under and Away here which is very surprising, and at the time of writing FC Tokyo is actually made favorites. There’s massive value on Urawa DNB @ 2,04 (30 units) and Over 2,25 @ 2,01 (30 units) and I will also add a Urawa 1×2 @ 2,83 (20 units).
