J.League 1 R5 – Marinos vs Sagan Preview

Aftera good start to the season Marinos have now only taken 1 point on their last 2 matches. They looked particularly poor last round when they lost 0-2 away vs Oita and it was actually a deserved win for the newly-promoted side too.

Sagan got their season going last round with a narrow home-win vs Iwata after a late winner from newly-signed Cuenca. That should give them a boost, and if we count the cup as well they now got 2 straight wins.

I dont think they will be a match to Marinos here though, who will put their defence under a lot of pressure and I expect the home-team to end up with all 3 points in this one.  Sagan really struggles with creating chances and scoring goals, but this is a game where their strikers Torres and Kanazaki will probably get more room than usual so we might see chances at both ends.

Prediction: 2-0 or 2-1

Odds Info:
There’s been a move on Marinos here and -0,75 @ 2,00 is not really interesting although I was considering taking Sagan 1×2.   I got some value on Overs, and might consider taking Over 2,5 early live but nothing pre-game.
