FC Tokyo – Nagoya Grampus:
These 2 teams are currently no.2 and no.1 in the league, and they can both be very happy with the start of the season. Tokyo have looked solid defensively as usual, and finally managed to score at home last round too with 2 late goals vs a 10-men Sagan-side.
Goals haven’t been a problem for Nagoya who got 9 goals so far on their first 3 matches, and they took a strong 3-2 away-win vs Gamba last round after a later winner. They arguably got the best attack in the league but will not get as much space as usual here vs Tokyo I think.
Last year this fixture ended with a 3-2 win for Tokyo, and Tokyo have had the upper hand in recent meetings with 3-2-0 overall vs Nagoya on the last 5 meetings. I’m leaning towards Tokyo as well as favorites here although this is a very open match that can go both ways.

Both the Totals and HCP looks spot-on so there’s no pre-game bets for me in this one.
