J.League 1 R4 – Shonan vs Vegalta Preview

Shonan Bellmare – Vegalta Sendai:

Shonan with 2 straight defeats now but they’ve played good football and both their 2 losses came vs strong teams.  Vegalta are yet to win and only got 1 point from their opening 3 matches but also they have met only strong teams. So it’s a bit early to draw any conclusions on either teams.

Vegalta’s form away from home is quite poor as they have lost 6 out of their last 7 away-matches. They got a good record vs Shonan in recent years though, and in the league they got 4-2-0 against them on the last 6 meetings.

This looks like a very open match that can go either way but I have a small pref on Shonan.
