J.League 1 R4 – Sagan vs Iwata Preview

Sagan Tosu – Jubilo Iwata:

Sagan have been a real disaster so far with 3 straight losses and no goals scored, but they are slowly improving and last round they held out for 88 minutes vs Tokyo away before conceding 2 goals (with just 10 men on the pitch). They haven’t had an easy start to their season with 3 strong opponents but they are up against a much weaker side here.

Iwata as well are without a win but they drew their 2 opening matches and then lost narrowly at home vs Oita last round (also they played most of that match with just 10 men).  They aren’t exactly a good away-team as they are without a win for 14 away-games in the league and on those 14 games they only scored 5 goals.

I’m not a big fan of Sagan either but they are usually good at home and won 6 out of their last 7 home-games in the league last season so if we look away from the poor performance in R1 where they lost 0-4 vs Nagoya they got a very good home-record.

Expected Starting Lineup Sagan:

Prediction: 1-0 or 2-0

Odds Info:

I think Sagan have a good chance for 3 points here and should definitely avoid defeat so the Sagan DNB @1,70 (20 units) looks nice. The Totals are spot-on.
