Vegalta Sendai – Vissel Kobe:
Vegalta have had a tough start to their season with just 1 point so far but they’ve met good teams in Urawa and Marinos so you couldn’t really expect much more from them. They meet another difficult opponent here in Vissel Kobe which is a team they’ve struggled against in recent seasons.
Vissel Kobe won 1-0 at home vs Sagan last round but have been a bit underwhelming so far considering all the talent that is at the club. They’ve further strengthened their squad this week by signing former Barcelona-player Sergi Samper, but he will probably not take part in this match.
I don’t really rate Vegalta too high this season and I think Kobe got a good chance of another win. Vegalta can be a tough team play against though as they are physically strong and possess a never-die-attitude that a lot of teams tends to struggle against. But Kobe’s project seems to be going in the right direction, and with ambitions of a top 3 finish they need to win matches like these.
Expected Starting Lineup Vegalta:
13Hiraoka – 27Oiwa (I) – 2Nagato
4Hachisuka – 23Simao Mate – 7Sekiguchi
17Tomita – 6Hyodo
38Nagasawa – 1Ishihara(I)
DF Iio (S/R)
MF Tsuihashi (R)
FW Ramon Lopes (R)
Expected Starting Lineup Kobe:
22Nishi – 33Dankler – 25Osaki – 19Hatsuse
14Mita – 5Yamaguchi
10Podolski(I) – 8Iniesta(K) – 16Furuhashi
MF Masuyama (S/R)
Prediction: 0-2 or 1-2
There’s been a massive move on Vissel Kobe here as the main line on them have moved from DNB to -0,5. I agree that Kobe should be favorites but at this price I find more value on Vegalta 1×2 @ 3,41 (10 units). The totals looks more or less correct.
