J.League 1 R3 – Marinos vs Kawasaki Preview

Yokohama F Marinos – Kawasaki Frontale:

It’s time for The Kanagawa Derby, and this should be a very interesting match. Marinos have arguably been the most impressive team so far (especially attacking-wise) with 2 solid wins, but they have to do without key player Miyoshi for this one as he’s on loan from Kawasaki and therefore not eligible to play this one.

Kawasaki are yet to win in the league, with 2 draws so far but they’ve met strong teams in Tokyo and Kashima. They also lost 0-1 in China vs Shanghai SIPG midweek but performed well and could easily have gotten away with something there.

Marinos’ attack could suffer here without Miyoshi, but Otsu is a more than a decent replacement and I still think they can cause problems for Kawasaki’s defence if they stick to their typical tactics.  It will be lots of chances for Kawasaki on the breaks too so I expect another fast-paced game and hopefully goals too.

Odds Info:

This match can go either way, so although I got slight value on Marinos I will skip any HCP-bets pre.  As for the totals, Over 2,75 @ 1,87 (20 units) looks interesting.
