Matsumoto Yamaga – Urawa Reds:
Matsumoto are still unbeaten after 2 matches and although they’ve met 2 of the arguably weakest teams in the entire league it’s still a sign that they will not be a walkover this season. They also won in the cup vs Shimizu midweek using their B-squad so the spirit is definitely high within the club.
Urawa were utterly horrible vs Consadole last round as they were outplayed at home, and the 0-0 draw in R1 away vs Vegalta was also underwhelming. It’s been up front they have struggled the most and it’s obvious they are missing Muto who’s very important to their link-up play as new signing Sugimoto have performed really bad so far. They got a boost in midweek though as they finally got their first win of the season in ACL at home to Thai side Buriram.
This match is already sold out, and it’s a big event for a small club like Matsumoto to host the giants from Saitama here, but their record vs them is not good as they’ve lost all 3 matches against them in the past. I think that will happen here too, as Urawa’s win mid-week should have given them back some confidence and I expect to see them dominate most of the play here.

Prediction: 0-2 or 1-2
I expect Urawa to bounce back from their loss vs Consadole last round, and will back them here at -0,25 @ 1,96 (20 units). The totals looks more or less correct.
