Nagoya Grampus – Cerezo Osaka:
Nagoya were the most impressive team in R1 as they hammered Sagan 4-0 away and they will hope to build on that win here. But Cerezo also did well as they beat the star-studded Vissel Kobe 1-0 at home.
This match promises a lot of goals as I think Nagoya will continue with their offensive playstyle, and Cerezo also got a huge potential up front especially if Tokura is playing. What their lineup will be here is hard to predict as they have trained behind closed doors this week but there will probably not be too many changes compared to last round.
This match ended 0-0 last season but I highly doubt that will happen this year. I have Nagoya as a small favorite, but it’s wide-open.
Nagoya Expected Starting Lineup:
6Miyahara – 17Maruyama – 20Nakatani – 23Yoshida
25Maeda – 2Yonemoto – 8Simic – 10Gabriel Xavier(K)
7Jo(K) – 32Akasaki*
MF Aoki (S/R)
MF Eduardo Neto (R)
AM Mateus (R)
Cerezo Expected Starting Lineup:
3Kimoto –22Jonjic –23Yamashita
29Funaki* – 11Souza – 25Okuno – 14Maruhashi
7Mizunuma* – 10Kiyotake(K)
MF Desabato (R)
FW Tokura (K)
Prediction: 2-1 or 2-2
I’m not sure how Cerezo will approach this game, but I expect an open game and find good value on the Over 2,5 @ 1,88 (10 units). The HCP seems spot-on.
