J1 R1 – Kashima vs Oita Preview

Kashima Antlers – Oita Trinita:

Oita are back in J1 for the first time since 2013, and they couldn’t have asked for a more difficult start.  Kashima away is a tough as it gets, and I cant really see them have much chance here. They are the inferior team here in every single way even though Kashima have some injuries and players with fitness issues.

Some of those issues come from the ACL match midweek, where they impressed by winning 4-1 against Newcastle Jets.  They seem to be en route and already in good form, so I expect them to take another comfortable win here.

Odds on Kashima seems spot on. There is some value on the Under 2,75 for me, but I’ll skip any under-bets pre.
