Levain Cup Quarter Finals 1st leg Preview

Bets based on lineups:

Kashima Antlers – Kawasaki Frontale:

Kashima DNB @ 1,96 (100 units)

Both teams have swapped out more or less half their squad compared to their last league-match which makes it tricky to predict but in my opinion Kashima looks slightly stronger here as they got better back-up players + their bench also looks stronger.    There’s decent value on the DNB on the home-side here as Kashima rarely lose at home.

Shonan Bellmare – Cerezo Osaka:

Cerezo -0,25 @ 1,93 (200 units)

Cerezo are fielding close to a full-strength squad here with only 2 changes to their starting lineup compared to last weekend’s match vs Urawa.   They won this cup last year, and seems to be taken it seriously this year as well.

Shonan are resting 4-5 players, and although their squad is still ok they shouldn’t normally stand a chance vs a motivated Cerezo-side here. The -0,25 line on Cerezo looks golden.

Ventforet Kofu – Kashiwa Reysol:

Reysol -0,25 @ 1,95 (200 units)

This is the safest bet of the round, as Kofu have changed out their entire lineup compared to the team they fielded in the league last round.  Reysol have also made some changed but several of their key members are starting and I can’t see anything but an away-win here.

Gamba Osaka – Yokohama F Marinos:

Marinos -0,25 @1,85 (100 units)
Under 3 @1,88 (100 units)

It’s difficult to trust Marinos these days, but they seem to be taking the cup seriously and are fielding a relatively strong squad here with 6-7 first-team regulars from the start.

Gamba on the other hand have swapped out almost their entire squad and normally shouldn’t stand a chance here with what is essentially a B-squad. I think the total is also too high here and like the Under 3 line.
