J.League 1 R22 – Cerezo vs Shimizu Preview

Cerezo Osaka – Shimizu S-Pulse:

Cerezo’s form are not improving, and they have now played 8 matches in a row without a win. They are still in 6th place though, but if their form doesn’t turn around they will soon drop like a rock on the table. They are expected to try out a new formation here (3-4-2-1), and there’s still no sign of key FW Kakitani in the starting lineup although he is supposedly fit to play. With Sugimoto firing blanks they could really need him up front these days.

Shimizu got 2 straight defeats but had a nice run prior to that. They got 4-1-5 away, so  I think they could easily upset Cerezo here.  It’s worth to take a 1×2 bet on them here, and I also like Over 2,5 as I doubt this match will end a draw.
