J.League 1 R17 – Sagan vs Vegalta Preview

Sagan Tosu – Vegalta Sendai:

Sagan are unbeaten on 4 matches now, but the last 3 all ended a draw. Still, they had 7 defeats in a row prior to that, so they seem to have turned around their bad streak.  Big things are expected from Sagan’s new striker Fernando Torres here, and although he will only start on the bench I expect him to make an impact.  If not directly, then at least as a boost to the other players.

Vegalta lost 2-8 last round and are probably stripped of confidence here now. They won their last 2 away-matches but think they might struggle here and have a small pref on Sagan. The Over 2,25 got some tiny value, especially with Torres likely to get some play-time in the 2nd half.
