J.League 1 R8 – Vegalta vs Kawasaki Preview

Vegalta Sendai – Kawasaki Frontale:

Vegalta continues to impress and managed to get away with a 3-2 win away vs Nagoya last round which means they are still in 2nd place in the league. Not really setting the league on fire with how they play, but they get the job done.  They suffered a blow last round as their best DF Oiwa got sent off so their defence looks quite weakened here now.

Kawasaki got 0-2-1 on their last 3 matches and are in a bit of a rut.   They are more or less back at full-strength now with the only absent being FW Kobayashi.  The games between these 2 sides usually contains a ton of goals and with Vegalta being very weakened in defence here as well there is good value on the Over 2,25.

With the team’s current form in mind I also find some value in a small 1×2 bet on Vegalta.
