J.League 1 R5 – Sagan vs Nagoya Preview

Sagan Tosu – Nagoya Grampus:

Sagan are one of the teams expected to struggle this season but are off to a decent start with 5 points from 4 matches. Their only loss came last round at home vs Kashima Antlers but they played a decent game.

Nagoya have spent big money ahead of this season and were flying off to a great start with wins against Gamba and Iwata in R1 and R2 but since then they have disappointed. Their impressive attacking football from the earlier rounds have disappeared, and they have failed to score in their last 2 matches.

Sagan is a tough team to beat at home and with Nagoya’s form decreasing I think they got a decent chance at points here. I still rate Nagoya as the better team though so it’s a tricky match to predict and no bets for me.
