J.League 1 R5 – Shimizu vs Marinos Preview

Shimizu S-Pulse – Yokohama F Marinos:

Shimizu have looked very impressive so far this season and done better than what most people were expecting. They are still unbeaten and seems to have responded to the tactical changes of Jan Jönsson well. They are a team that are very strong on counters, and I think that might not suit a team like Marinos too well who lack quick players in their defensive line.

Marinos will be high on spirit though after taking their first win of the season last round away against Urawa, and that puts a lot of pressure off their manager Postecoglou as well.  New signing from Cameroon Olivier Boumal is set to make his debut for Marinos here.

Expect this to be a tight match but have a small pref on Shimizu.  No bets though as odds seems more or less correct.
