J.League 1 R2 – Kobe vs Shimizu Preview

Vissel Kobe – Shimizu S-Pulse:

Kobe got high ambitions and will look to improve on last season’s 9th place. They needed a late goal by Havenaar to avoid defeat away vs Sagan in their season opener so things aren’t going too well yet.
Shimizu on the other hand played a very good game vs Kashima and held them to a 0-0 draw at home. With a bit more luck they would have ended up with all 3 points in that one.

So I don’t think it will be an easy match for Kobe here although I still have them as favorites. Odds seems to be more or less spot-on so there is no value in speculating in an upset-win for Shimizu.
