J.League Cup Semifinals – 1st leg Betting Previews

It’s time for the first legs of the semifinals in the Japanese League Cup which recently changed name from Nabisco Cup to Levain Cup.

Tokyo vs Urawa looks like the most interesting of the 2 semifinals, and I’m backing Urawa for the win here as they have won their last 6 matches where they also have scored an astonishing 18 goals. For this match Tokyo are missing both DF Maruyama and DF Morishige to NT-duties, and in addition DF Tokunaga is also out with an injury. So their defence looks severely weakened,  and also Urawa’s defence have taken a blow with GK Nishikawa and DF Makino also on NT-duties. So everything points towards goals, and I’m backing the Over 2,75-line with this round’s biggest bet.

Gamba vs Marinos also have potential for goals, but the line seems to be a bit too high considering it is a 1st-leg match. There are no team-news that suports any under-bets either, and actually Marinos will be without one of their best attacking players in Saito here.

Medium (5 units):

Tokyo – Urawa Over 2,75 @ 2,00

Small (2,5 units):

Urawa -0,25 @ 1,79
Gamba – Marinos Under 2,75 @ 1,82
