Missing/Bench:
MF Arai (R)
MF Ishihara (S/R)

————————————-

Urawa have looked fairly solid so far, with 3 wins and a strange 1-2 loss at home vs Iwata.  They have looked strong in attack creating lots of chances, and should have racked up more goals than the 7 they got so far.

Kofu won their opening match vs Kobe away, but things have looked tougher for them ever since, and laost round they lost 0-4 at home vs Kawasaki. They got 2 good cup-results though, but shouldn’t matter too much here.

Should be a fairly one-sided match, and can’t see Kofu get away with anything. Pref on under, but tricky total.

Prediction: 2-0

——————————————

Finally a win for Hiroshima last round, and they did it in style as they beat Omiya 5-1 away. Looked good in attack the last couple of matches, and expect some goals from them here as well.

Vegalta got 2-0-2 so far in the league, which is pretty good considering the teams they have met.  Not a particularly good away-team though.  Won both their cup-matches during the NT-break, but fielded weakened squad. Are missing a couple of players here, and the loss of playmaker Ryang will affect them a lot I think.  Should be an easy home-win.

Prediction: 2-0 or 3-1

My odds: -1 @  1,87 / Over 2,5 @  1,97
Market Price: -1 @2,13 / Over 2,75 @ 2,04

Avispa Fukuoka – Albirex Niigata:

Predicted Starting Lineup Avispa:

4-4-2:

11Ibusuki – 9Yamazaki

Missing/Bench:
DF Matsubara (R)
DF Fitzgerald (R)
FW Rafael Silva (I)
FW Suzuki (S/R)
—————————————-

Avispa are yet to win in the league, but have pulled off some good results still, and looked competitive in all their games except for the 0-2 loss away vs Urawa.  Won in the cup last round as well away vs Kawasaki, which was strong.

Albirex have looked fairly poor in their last matches, and conceded a ton of goals this season.  Should be the better team here, and are just as good away as at home. So looks like an open game that can go both ways, and expect goals here.

Prediction: 2-1 or 1-2

My odds: DNB @ 1,90 / Over 2,75 @  1,92
Market Price: +0,25 @ 1,91 / Over 2,5 @ 1,95

33Kanasaki– 18Akasaki

Missing/Bench:
DF Seok (R)
MF Endo (R)

——————————————–

Great start for Kawasaki, with 3-1-0 so far, and they have been scoring goals for fun.  12 goals in 4 matches is impressive, but they have also conceded 7 so they still got some issues defensively.

Kashima are also off to a decent start, with 3-0-1.  They have been the complete opposite of Kawasaki, and looked very  tight in defence and taken their (few) chances up front to claim some narrow wins.

Think Kawasaki has been the more impressive out of the 2 sides, and think we’ll see an open game here as they will most likely dictate the play. It can go either way though.

Prediction: 2-1 or 2-2

My odds: -0,25 @ 2,08 / Over 2,5 @  1,82
Market Price: -0,25 @ 2,14 / Over 3 @ 2,02

25Kobayashi – 7Otani
15Taketomi – 17Akino – 10Otsu (I)
11Diego Oliveira

Missing/Bench:
DF Yamanaka (S/R)

——————————————

Sagan won their opening match vs Avispa at home, but have struggled ever since. Also lost their only cup-game so far, so can’t be happy with how the season have gone until now.

Reysol have even more reason to be disappointed as they are the only J1-team yet to record a win in any competition.  Been playing fairly good though, but havent managed to tip the matches into their favour.

Rate them as a much better side than Sagan here though, and think they have a good chance at getting their first win of the season. Also think we could be in for some goals.

Prediction: 1-2 or 0-2

My odds: +0,25 @  1,84 / Over 2,5 @  1,96

15Adailton (K) – 4Kobayashi – 9Ota
8Jay (K)

Missing/Bench:
DF Morishita (R)
MF Ueda (R)

——————————-

Omiya 2 straight losses now, after starting the season with 2 wins.  Bounced back nicely in the cup though, but fielded a very weakened squad there.

Iwata have looked impressive so far for being a newly-promoted team, and have 3 strong results in a row.  Their defence aren’t the best though, but they have looked very good in attack with Jay Bothroyd proving to be a force even in J1.  Very open game that can go both ways this one, and a draw or a narrow home-win seems most likely.  Expect goals!

Prediction: 2-1 or 2-2

My odds: -0,25 @  2,01 / Over 2,75 @ 1,94
Market Price: DNB @1,85 / Over 2,5 @ 2,01

Missing/Bench:
AM Yada (R)
FW Matsuda (R)

——————————–

Tokyo have 2-0-2 so far, and have looked ok except for in the 0-1 loss vs Omiya in R1.   Looked very under, and created few chances overall.  Their attack might be boosted by former Guangzhou Evergrande FW Muriqui ahead of this match though,  and that could make a big difference.

Nagoya have 2-1-1 so far, which is fairly good and they were close to getting away with points vs Kawasaki as well in the 2-3 loss.   A bit tricky team to predict though, but they are not easy to beat.

Tokyo should still be a fairly big favorite here though, and expect a home-win.  Tricky total, but leaning towards an under.

Prediction: 2-0 or 2-1

Shonan Bellmare – Vissel Kobe:

Predicted Starting Lineup Shonan:
3-4-2-1:
1Murayama
6Misao – 4Andre Bahia (I) – 36Okamoto

6Sho. Takahashi –5Iwanami – 39Inoha – 3Soma
19Watanabe – 24Mihara – 14Fujita – 13Ogawa
7Pedro Junior – 11Leandro (I)

Missing/Bench:
DF Yamaguchi (S/R)
MF Muramatsu (R)

————————————————

Shonan are yet to win in the league, but have played some good football and arguably deserved more based on play. Seems to have big problems in defence though, as they have conceded 10 goals in 4 matches, including 2 last-minute equalizers that costed them the win.

Kobe have also been playing some good football, especially at home in the wins against Gamba and Albirex.  2 impressive wins in the cup as well, so the spirit and confidence should be high.  Lost their only away-game so far 0-1 vs Tokyo.

With 2 teams that loves to attack, and who are arguably better up front than in defence, this should be an interesting match with plenty of chances in it.  Hard to pick a favorite though, but its about time Shonan gets their first win.

Prediction: 3-2 or 2-2

My odds: DNB @ 1,89 / Over 3 @  1,83
Market Price: DNB @ 2,10 / Over 2,5 @ 1,87

Bets:
Shonan DNB @ 2,10 (5 units)
Over 2,5 @ 1,87 (10 units)

Predicted Starting Lineup Marinos:

21Iikura
23Shimohira – 22Nakazawa (I) – 5Fabio – 13Kobayashi
8Nakamachi– 28Kida
11Saito (I) – 10Nakamura (I) – 18Endo
17Togashi

Missing/Bench:

—————————–

2-0-2 so far for Gamba, which is a little bit disappointing.  Not been playing that well either, except for maybe in the 2-1 home win vs Omiya 2 rounds ago.

Marinos got 2-1-1, and have 2 straight wins now. Only met weak teams though, and likely to struggle more here vs one of the title-favorites.  Have a fairly big home-pref here, and think Gamba can get back on track with a win.  No pref on the total.

Prediction: 2-0 or 2-1

My odds: -0,5 @  2,06 / Over 2,5 @ 2,00
Market Price: Gamba -0,25 @ 1,92 / Over 2,25 @ 1,95

Bets:
Gamba -0,25 @ 1,92 (5 units)
Over 2,25 @ 1,95 (5 units)
