10Kim MW – 24Kamada – 16Choi
11Toyoda (K) – 38Okada
DF Isozaki (S/R)
A very nice for Kashima last round away vs Gamba, and they will be looking for 3 new points here. Are known as a strong home-team, and won 6 out of their last 8 home-matches last season.
Sagan won the derby-match vs Avispa 2-1 at home last round, but are not a team I rate too highly this year. Should be in for a struggle here, and got a fairly big pref on home, but the price is a bit too much.
Prediction: 2-0 or 2-1
My odds: -0,5 @ 1,89 / Over 2,5 @ 1,99
Market Price: -1 @ 1,95 / Over 2,75 @ 1,96
Sagan 1×2 @ 6,30 ( 1 unit)
Kawasaki Frontale – Shonan Bellmare:

18Elsinho (I) – 3Nara – 5Taniguchi – 20Kurumaya
25Kano – 10Oshima – Nakamura (I) – 19Moritani
13Okubo (K) – 11Kobayashi

Predicted Starting Lineup Shonan:
6Misao – 4Andre Bahia (I) -36Okamoto
14s.Fujita –16Ishikawa – 5Paulinho – 10D.Kikuchi
2S.Kikuchi – Takayama (I)
This is somewhat of a derby-match, and last year Kawasaki won 2-1 in the home-fixture. They got off to a great start beating reigning champions Sanfrecce 1-0 away in their opening match.
Shonan were the biggest disappointment last round, as they lost 1-2 at home vs Albirex. They were also my biggest pick of the round.
Kawasaki are a strong home-team and should be a rather clear favorite here. They are a much better team, and have won 6 out of 8 matches at home vs Shonan in the past. Anything can happen in a derby though, and odds on Shonan is too generous to skip.
Prediction: 2-0 or 2-1
My odds: -0,5 @ 1,93 / Over 2,5 @ 1,98
Market Price: -0,75 @ 1,82 / Over 2,5 @ 1,87
Shonan 1×2 @ 5,65 ( 1 unit)
Omiya Ardija – Kashiwa Reysol:
Predicted Starting Lineup Omiya:
5Numata – 2Kikuchi(I) –3Koumoto – 22Wada
9Pecnik – 18Yokoyama – 10Iwakami – 39Izumisawa
8Mrdja (K) – 41Ienaga(I)
Predicted Starting Lineup Reysol:
14Ito –4Nakatani – 5Masushima – 22Wako
18Ederson – 8Barada – 10Otsu (I)
11Diego Oliveira (I)
Great win for Omiya last round away vs Tokyo, and proved that they should be able to compete at a decent level even in J1. Reysol deservedly lost vs Urawa, but that was expected anyway.
Rate Reysol as the better team here, but so early in the season its wide-open and hard to pick a favorite in this match. Got potential for goals as it is 2 teams that are arguably better in attack than defence that meets.
Prediction: 2-1 or 1-1
My odds: -0,25 @ 2,08 / Over 2,5 @ 1,89
Market Price: DNB @ 1,94 / Over 2,25 @ 1,87
Omiya DNB @ 1,94 (2,5 units)

Vissel Kobe – Albirex Niigata:
Predicted Starting Lineup Kobe:
6Sho. Takahashi – 5Iwanami – 39Inoha -3Soma
14Fujita – 24Mihara
19Watanabe –9Ishizu – 7Pedro Junior
Predicted Starting Lineup Albirex:
25Koizumi – 28Hayakawa – 2Ono – 7Cortez
10Rafael Silva(I) –8 Leo Silva(I) – 6Kobayashi – 41Kozuka – 9Yamazaki
Disappointing match from Kobe in their opener, as they lost 0-2 at home vs Kofu. Meet another team that is expected to struggle this season here in Albirex, and need to bounce back with a win.
Albirex are by most pundits (me included) rated as one of the weakest teams in the league this year, but they still managed to get away with a strong 2-1 win away vs Shonan in R1. Lightning shouldn’t struck twice at the same place, so I will go against Albirex this time as well and back Kobe for the win.
My odds: -0,25 @ 1,88 / Over 2,5 @ 1,89
Market Price: DNB @ 1,87 / Over 2,25 @ 1,83
Kobe DNB @1,87 (5 units)

Avispa Fukuoka – Yokohama F Marinos:
Predicted Starting Lineup Avispa:
20Kim – 2Hamada – 5Saneto
22Nakamura – 15Sueyoshi (I) – 33Suzuki – 18Kamekawa
7Kanamori – |0Jogo(I)
Predicted Starting Lineup Marinos:
23Shimohira – 22Nakazawa (I) – 5Fabio – 13Kobayashi
8Nakamachi – 28Kida
11Saito (I) –10Nakamura (I) – 25Maeda
Narrow defeat for Avispa in their opening match vs rivals Sagan. Are meeting a much better side here, but Marinos also lost their opening match at home vs Vegalta.
Marinos had one of the better away-records last season in J1, especially in the 2nd-stage. Might have to do without their important AM Nakamura here as he is struggling with influenza, which could be a blow. Very open game that could go both ways, but think Avispa can avoid defeat in what will be their first home-match in J1 for several years.
My odds: +0,25 @ 1,89 / Over 2,25 @ 1,93
Market Price: +0,5 @ 1,91 / Over 2,25 @ 1,92
Avispa +0,5 @ 1,91 (2,5 units)
