A-League R22 Betting Previews

Brisbane Roar – Western Sydney:

Brisbane Roar missing:
DF Polenz (S/R)
FW Solorzano (S/R)

Western Sydney missing:
DF Topor-Stanley (I)
MF Vidosic (R/I)

2 straight losses for Brisbane, and they are a bit off at the moment. Have looked very bad defensively, and conceded 11 goals in their last 3 matches. They have been very solid at home so far though, with a 7-2-1 home-record.

W Sydney are in 1st, but only got 2-2-1 on their last 5 so they are not showing much stability at the moment. Got a decent away-record lately, with 4-3-1 on their last 8, but have to do without 2 of their best players here.Want to back Brisbane for the win, in what should be another high-scoring match.

Prediction: 2-1 or 3-1

My odds: -0,25 @ 1,94 / Over 3 @ 1,91
Market Price: DNB @ 1,91 / Over 3 @ 2,03

Brisbane Roar DNB @ 1,91 (5 units)
Over 3 @ 2,03 (2,5 units)

Wellington Phoenix – Adelaide United:

Wellington Phoenix missing:
MF Lia (S/R)
FW Krishna (I)

Adelaide United missing:
MF Isaias (I)

Wellington need a miracle to have any chance of making it into the top 6, as they are 8 points behind wih just 6 matches remaining. Have won 2 out of their last 3 matches, which is a big improvement compared to earlier.

Adelaide got 3 straight wins, and have climbed to 2nd place on the table. Didn’t win any of their opening 8 matches, but have an amazing 10-3-0 record since then. The form-team no.1 in the league, and have to back them for the win here as well. Expect goals as well.

Prediction: 1-3 or 0-3

My odds: +0,5 @ 1,99 / Over 2,75 @ 1,94
Market Price: +0,25 @ 2,00 / Over 2,75 @ 1,88

Adelaide -0,25 @ 1,92 (5 units)

Melbourne City – Sydney FC:

Melbourne City missing:

Sydney FC missing:
DF Ryall (R)
DF Faty (R)
MF Grant (R)
FW Brosque (R)
FW Carney (S/R)

M City are not in the best of form, with just 1 win in their last 5 matches. Almost all their matches are high-scoring, and they both concede and score a lot of goals. Their home-form is great though, with 5-2-0 on their last 7.

Sydney with a great result in ACL midweek, but are without 4 regulars here. Their league-form is off as well as they are without a win for 6 matches. The injuries + the schedule for Sydney should mean M City have a great chance of picking up 3 points here.

Prediction: 3-1

My odds: -0,5 @ 1,82 / Over 3 @ 1,83
Market Price: -0,5 @ 2,02 / Over 3,25 @ 2,02

M City -0,25 @ 1,76 (2,5 units)

CC Mariners – Melbourne Victory:

CC Mariners missing:
MF Montgomery (R)

Melbourne Victory missing:
FW Barbarouses (R)

4 straight losses for CCM, and they are dead-last in the league with nothing to play for.

M Victory had a tough game in Japan midweek, but got away with a very strong 1-1 draw. Not the best form in the league, but have a good chance to get back on track here as CCM aren’t much of a match to anyone at the moment. Fatigue from the tight schedule and long flight could be a factor though for Victory, but its doubtful CCM can exploit that.

Prediction: 0-2 or 1-2

My odds: +0,5 @ 2,09 / Over 2,5 @ 1,81
Market Price: Mariners +1 @ 1,92 / Over 3 @ 1,88

Mariners 1×2 @ 5,17 (1 unit)
Under 3 @ 2,02 (2,5 units)

Perth Glory – Newcastle Jets:

Perth Glory missing:
DF Warren (R)

Newcastle Jets missing:

Perth lost last round away vs W Sydney, but had 5 straight wins prior to that. Just 2 points behind 6th, and need to string together some more strong results if they want to make it into the playoffs.

Newcastle are also in good form with 3-1-0 on their last 4. They have not been convincing away though, even though they beat rivals CCM 1-0 away last round. Should be a pretty big home-advantage for Perth here, and want to back them for the win. Perth very over at home, but 5 out of Newcastle’s 6 last away-games have gone under 2,5.

Prediction: 2-0 or 3-1

My odds: -0,75 @ 2,00 / Over 2,5 @ 1,83
Market Price: -1 @2,02 / Over 3 @ 1,88

Under 3 @2,02 (2,5 units)
